1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," "your") and
The Institute of Indian Foundrymen and/or India Exposition Mart Ltd. ("Organiser," "we," "us," "our"), an entity/entities registered in India,

(the "Website"), and any associated services, content, and functionalities (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing, browsing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy,
and all other applicable policies. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. If you are a minor (under 18), you may use the Service only with the involvement
and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. User Accounts
- Registration: To access certain features (e.g., visitor registration, exhibitor portal), you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
- Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, at our sole discretion, if you violate these Terms, for non-payment, or for any other reason.
4. User Conduct and Obligations (IT Rules, 2021)
As a user of the Service, you agree not to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share any information that:
- Belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right;
- Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, insulting or harassing, libellous, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encouraging money laundering or gambling;
- Is harmful to a child;
- Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights;
- Violates any law for the time being in force;
- Deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly communicates any information which is patently false or misleading in nature;
- Impersonates another person;
- Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or incites the commission of any cognisable offence;
- Contains a software virus, trojan, or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
- Is patently false and untrue, and is written or published with the intent to mislead, harass for financial gain, or cause injury.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- Our IP: All content, trademarks, logos, service marks, text, graphics, and software on the Service, including the "IFEX" name and branding, are the property of the Organiser or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): If you post content (e.g., in an exhibitor profile), you retain ownership of your UGC. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such UGC in connection with the Service and promotion of the IFEX event.
6. Exhibitor Bookings and Services
- Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and will clearly state the applicability of taxes (like GST).
- Payment: We use third-party payment gateways. We are not responsible for any errors or data privacy issues arising from the payment gateway.
- Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to our formal confirmation. The detailed terms of your participation, including space allocation, are governed by the separate Exhibitor Manual and booking form, which form part of this agreement.
- Cancellation & Refunds: The specific Cancellation & Refund Policy is outlined in the Exhibitor Manual and booking form.
7. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., travel partners, venue sites) that are not owned or controlled by us. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any such third-party sites, information, materials, products, or services. You access them at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permissible by Indian law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall the Organiser, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the Service, or your participation in the event, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us (if any) in the six (6) months preceding the claim, or (b) One Thousand Indian Rupees (INR 1,000).
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Organiser and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including advocate's fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Service;
- Your violation of any term of these Terms;
- Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right;
- Any claim that your User-Generated Content caused damage to a third party.
11. Termination
- By Us: We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including your breach of these Terms.
- By You: You may terminate your account by ceasing to use the Service.
- Survival: All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
12. Grievance Redressal (IT Rules, 2021)

We will acknowledge the complaint within 24 hours and dispose of it within 15 days.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India, to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
14. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be struck, and the remaining provisions will be enforced.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
- Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, pandemics, strikes, governmental restrictions, or event cancellations.
- Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
